Winter is a busy time of year as we have a lot of deer to shoot with the day length is shortening rapidly at the end of the year and only slowly increasing at the start of the new one.

At the beginning of the winter season the emphasis is very much on red hinds which are hunted until 15th February, after which our attention turns to roe does. Some of our red deer areas have a good population of roe and these may be taken at the same time as hinds, often with both species shot on the same day.

Pricing for winter hunting is always on a fixed price basis with no extras for what is shot and no restriction on what may be shot selectively.

Winter hunts are let on a daily basis for up to 5 days in any week.
