Scottish red stags are unique for the environment where they are hunted and roebucks located in Fife & lowland Tayside have the potential to be world class thanks to the underlying limestone and rich farmland. Every year on average 20% of our roebuck heads reach CIC medal class which attracts many hunters from around the world.
We can give you an indication of the medal potential for each trophy before you depart at the end of the week. In addition we keep any trophy that may reach gold medal status to be officially measured and recorded as shot in Scotland. The measuring process takes place after 90 days allowing for drying after which the correct paperwork is provided for you and posted along with your trophy.
