Accommodation
Woodmill House – Full Board
Built as a farmhouse in 1840, Woodmill House simply exudes comfort, warmth and privacy and can host up to 4 stalking guests (double, double/twin). Two beautiful bedrooms, deep sofas and roaring log fires make this an idyllic and superbly relaxing choice. Before and after your day stalking, you will be provided with home cooked breakfast and a fabulous 2 course evening dinner before you can settle in by the fire.
Woodmill Arches – Self Catered
On the same property, Woodmill Arches is our private designer barn conversion for two (double or twin), it’s incredibly spacious, superbly comfortable and stylishly contemporary with masses of natural light. There is a micro-kitchen contained in a small alcove which has a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, slow cooker, fridge and sink. Cooking facilities include a slow cooker and a microwave. We are happy to provide a home-made casserole on request that you can simply warm up for a delicious evening meal.
Transport
During your trip you will be accompanied by one of our team of experienced stalkers with comfortable 4×4 vehicles to transport you.
We are happy to quote for airport transfers to and from Woodmill as required. If you choose to hire your own, please allow the following travel times:
Edinburgh airport – 1 hour
Glasgow airport – 1½ hours
Aberdeen airport – 2 hours
Firearms
At Woodmill we provide the very best rifles and optics for our guests to use. These firearms may be used only when accompanied by the owner who will carry it for you, handing it it over prior to taking the shot.
If you wish to bring your own weapon then we can provide you with a Visitors Firearms Pass. We require a scanned copy of your European Firearms Pass and please allow 6 weeks for processing. This costs £50.
There is a rifle range conveniently next to Woodmill House that may be used at will by guests.
