Woodmill Shootings
Guided Red Deer & Roe Deer Stalking Experiences in Scotland
Woodmill Shootings offers guided red deer and roe deer stalking in Scotland across over 30,000 acres of Highland and Lowland terrain.
Our fully guided stalking holidays cater for experienced hunters and beginners looking to seek excitement and challenge of outstanding, traditional Scottish deer stalking.
Deer stalking in Scotland is widely regarded as one of the most rewarding hunting experiences in Europe. The combination of wild landscapes, healthy deer populations and centuries-old traditions makes Scotland a unique destination for stalkers.
Many estates operate deer management programmes that ensure populations remain healthy and balanced with the environment, while offering visitors a truly authentic sporting experience. At Woodmill Shootings we specialise in guided stalking for both beginners and experienced hunters. Our stalking takes place across several thousand acres of lowland farmland, woodland and Highland terrain. This variety of ground allows us to offer different stalking styles including woodland stalking, hill stalking and high-seat opportunities depending on the species and season. Our experienced stalkers will guide you throughout the day, helping with deer identification and behaviour, safe firearm handling, stalking techniques and fieldcraft, shot placement and follow-up, gralloching and carcass handling.
For those new to the sport, we also run Beginner Deer Stalking Courses designed to teach the fundamentals of stalking and deer management.
Whether you are hoping to stalk a roe buck in the summer, experience the excitement of the red deer rut, or simply enjoy a traditional stalking day in Scotland, Woodmill Shootings can create a tailored experience to suit you.
